Project availability is determined after reviewing the scope, project location, jurisdictional requirements and required engineering disciplines. Additional insurance or specialty clearance may be required before contract or production.

Proposal and payment policy
- No payment is required before scope and availability review and acceptance of a written proposal.
- Projects at or below $3,000: 100% before production after proposal acceptance.
- Projects from $3,001-$25,000: 60% deposit; balance before final sealed issuance.
- Projects above $25,000: 50% deposit, 30% at coordinated draft, 20% before final issuance.
- Rush service: 40% premium when accepted in writing.
- Site visits, surveying, geotechnical work, testing, laboratory services, and scope changes are separately priced.

Turnaround control
Complete qualified requests received during operating hours target a same-business-day scope response. The written proposal confirms the production start, required intake, responsible-professional availability, review milestones, and final issuance date before payment.
Scope boundary
Architecture, fire protection, accessibility, energy modeling, surveying, geotechnical work, testing, destructive investigation, expedited government review, and contractor means and methods are not included unless written into the scope.

Responsible-charge statement
Engineering services are performed under the responsible charge of the appropriately licensed Grand Street Engineering professional for the applicable project and jurisdiction. Grand Street Engineering does not offer after-the-fact sealing, rubber stamping, or a stamp-only service.
Owner, equipment, geometry, criteria, or scope changes require a written change order. Final issuance remains subject to professional review and required payment.

Can you guarantee the permit will be approved?
No. Grand Street can prepare and support the accepted engineering scope, but the AHJ makes the approval decision.
When is payment requested?
Payment is requested only after the project is scoped, availability is confirmed, and a written proposal is accepted. Additional records may follow through the approved secure upload path.
Is every correction a professional-engineering issue?
No. The comment set must be reviewed. Some items may belong to the architect, contractor, owner, surveyor, specialty vendor, or another discipline.
Do you sell a stamp for plans prepared elsewhere?
No. Engineering services are performed under the responsible charge of the appropriately licensed Grand Street Engineering professional for the applicable project and jurisdiction.
